IPAA Queensland is a non-profit, membership-based professional association - our purpose is to support our stakeholders, clients and members to achieve their maximum potential in the public sector.

This means we provide a wide range of services such as professional development, research and publications, cross-government connections and now our great online bookstore to our members and to all levels of the public sector, it’s our way of strengthening the profession as a whole.

At IPAA Queensland we believe that public administrators make a difference, and that’s why we’re committed to helping you succeed.  By providing you with the latest public sector thinking and contributing to your professional development we’re helping the world become a better place – one public administrator at a time.

We’re not all sunshine and moonbeams though, we do offer a great range of services, and they’re all designed specifically for the public sector.  Our training facilitators have extensive public sector backgrounds and our events and conferences spark debate on the latest public sector issues to keep you informed, while our Principles of Good Practice outline best practice guidelines for a wide range of public administration topics.
